FRIESIAN "INSPIRATION" BRINGS KUDOS TO
CHURCHWELL'S JEWELERS

   Anderson Bass's diamond horse head necklace slide was voted 1st place at the National confer-ence of the Independent Jewelers Organization!  The driving horse head features .45 cts of diamonds set in the harness.  The pendant is 2.3 inches tall, and fashioned of 14 karat yellow and white gold.  This design is a limited edition of 12.
   Churchwell’s Jewelers has a long history of crafting the finest unique gold and sterling jewelry. The company was established in 1905 by Mrs. Mary Churchwell. At that time, Churchwell’s was simply a retail jewelry store catering to the local people of Wilson, North Carolina. Mrs. Churchwell continued to operate the jewelry store by herself until the 1940’s when Harold Seburn approached her about buying the jewelry store. Mr. Seburn, who was the second Graduate Gemologist in the state of North Carolina, continued to operate Churchwell’s Jewelers throughout his career until joined in the business by his son-in-law, L.A.
